Saint Emilion Grand Cru

Château Soutard

2013

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

In 2006, Château Soutard was acquired by La MONDIALE, a company of AG2R LA MONDIALE, the first social protection group in France, which already owns Château Larmande and Château Grand Faurie La Rose. In 2009, the nearby Château Cadet-Piola joined this estate and thus brought the total area of the vineyard to nearly 60 hectares of a single piece of land including 30 hectares for Château Soutard on the Saint-Emilion plateau.

Les Jardins de Soutard is the second wine of the Château Soutard. It is a wine of Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation.

This 2013 vintage has a dense color. On the nose, it offers aromas of red fruits and spices. In the mouth, it is powerful and round but also brings a touch of freshness. Although the 2013 vintage was described as mediocre, it nevertheless remains a harmonious, racy and armed wine for a long aging.
