Pessac Léognan

Château La Louvière

2004

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Rich in seven centuries of history, the Château La Louvière is located south of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. In 1965, André Lurton bought this splendid property. Today, with an area of 48 ha, the vineyard, bordering Château Carbonnieux and Château Haut-Bailly, is planted on a varied soil, gravelous, siliceous or limestone in the slopes.

Mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon, this 2004 vintage is solar and powerful. It is a perfect example of the elegance and balance that only the great terroirs of Bordeaux know how to give with this grape variety. This wine magnifies the subtle balance between the depth of ripe black fruits and the delicate freshness of a great wine. It is a reliable value that has kept all its promises over time.
