How can I be sure that an item is available ?

We inform customers of the availability of items sold on the site on the detailed information page of each item.

What does “unavailable” mean for an item ?

An item is unavailable if it has already been purchased. It is technically impossible to order an unavailable item.

How can I be sure of the quality of the wines on the site ?

The quality of a wine is a subjective data specific to each individual. We cannot guarantee that the content will perfectly match the taste of the person buying it.

How can I be sure that the wines you sell are in good condition ?

Our team is composed of experts who are in charge of checking all the wines and making sure that there is no visual alteration of the content and/or the container.

This verification is done according to our quality criteria.

How do you get your wines ?

The majority of the wines for sale on www.cashiswine.fr/en/ come from individuals who have mandated us to sell them.

The wines come from our own inventory.

They can also come from professionals in the framework of destocking.

What products can I find on the site ?

CASHISWINE mainly offers for sale mature wines and spirits with a vintage year and less than 40 years old.

Order

My items have disappeared from my shopping cart. What happened ?

If the items you placed in your shopping cart disappear during the purchase process or on a subsequent visit, this is normal. It is simply that someone else has purchased the item you were interested in before you.

Don’t worry: it is impossible to pay for an item that is no longer available.

Can I cancel an order after I have paid for it ?

You have a legal period of 14 days to cancel an order and return the bottles to us provided they have not been opened.

Can I change an order after I have paid for it ?

No changes to an order are possible once the order has been paid for.

I am a professional ? Can I place an order ?

Professional buyers can place orders on the site in the same way as private individuals, provided that they have declared themselves as such on the site at the time of their registration, whether in the context of or outside of any usual or commercial activity.

I live in Reunion Island ? Can I place an order ?

The website is not intended for customers in the French overseas departments and regions and overseas communities.

I am a foreign customer ? Can I place an order ?

The site is intended for customers in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

It is not possible to make purchases free of VAT and duty.

Is there a minimum and maximum order size ?

There is no minimum or maximum order value.

Shipping

My order has still not been delivered ?

If you notice an abnormally long delay in the delivery of your order, do not hesitate to contact our customer service at the following address sav@cashiswine.fr

We will do everything possible to speed up the delivery with the carrier concerned. If your order is lost (damaged), we will reimburse you for the order.

I didn’t have time to pick up my order in a Delivery Point. How can I do it ?

The carrier will notify you by email and SMS of the availability of your order.

Your order will be kept for 14 days (10 days during sales and Christmas) before being returned to us if you do not come to pick it up.

What are the shipping costs ?

Shipping costs are calculated according to the delivery method and the destination. The amount of these costs will be due by the customer in addition to the price of the items purchased. Information about delivery times and costs are detailed on the website.

CASHISWINE offers free delivery for all orders over seven hundred and ninety (790) euros in Europe and over thousand hundred and ninety (1190) euros around the world.

How long will it take for delivery ?

On average, your order is prepared and delivered to the carrier within 2 working days. We do our best to respect these deadlines but if by any chance the deadlines should be much longer, we apologize in advance.

Delivery times are independent of CASHISWINE and depend on the carrier. Generally, our carriers deliver within 3 working days after handing over the package. Beyond that, please contact our customer service at the following address sav@cashiswine.fr

Payment

I am a foreign customer ? Who takes care of the customs clearance ?

CASHISWINE has appointed Chronopost ® to carry out the customs clearance procedures on its own behalf. The collection of taxes is carried out directly by Chronopost ® from the customers at the time of delivery.

Can I add a coupon code after I pay for my order ?

No reduction can be made after an order.

What kind of payments do you accept ?

We accept payment by credit card, Visa and Mastercard, but also by Paypal.

You can also pay with a promotional code or a voucher.

How to use a promotional code and/or voucher ?

To use them, you just have to enter the code that you will have been specified in your cart. The rates will then be automatically updated, before your payment.

Does the VAT apply to the products sold on the site ?

The wines come from individuals and CASHISWINE acts as an intermediary, without transfer of ownership.

Therefore, the selling prices listed on the site for each wine are displayed net, without VAT.

Return

Can I return a wine if it doesn’t suit me ?

You have a legal period of 14 days from the shipment of the order to make a return provided that the bottles have not been opened.

Sell your wines

I am a professional, can I send you wines ?

Professional sellers can use our services in the same way as private individuals, provided that they have declared themselves as such on the site at the time of their registration, whether within or outside of any usual or commercial activity.

I can’t sell my wines ?

Due to high activity, we may have to temporarily put the buyback service on hold. In this case, we will notify sellers as soon as the redemption process begins and will indicate this in the “Sell your wines” tab on the home page of the site.

I have a large quantity of wine to sell. How does it work to send them to you ?

For quantities greater than 48 bottles, CASHISWINE offers a free home collection service, organized according to the availability of sellers and our collection rounds.

What is the maximum quantity that can be taken over ?

The quantities to be sold with CASHISWINE are unlimited.

 

What is the minimum take over quantity ?

There is no minimum quantity required to use the CASHISWINE intermediation service.

NB: In order for CASHISWINE to cover the shipping and packaging costs, the WINE PACK must have a total indicative sales price of more than 250 €.

How to sell my wines ?

To sell your wines, all you have to do is make an estimate on the site and validate the proposal if it suits you.

I am a minor, can I sell wine ?

CASHISWINE reserves access to the site to adults only (age restriction on the home page).

Determination of the redemption price

What does the selling price correspond to ?

The indicative selling price provided by the simulator for each wine corresponds to the minimum amount contractually guaranteed by CASHISWINE. This is the reference price from which CASHISWINE commits to sell the wines. Below this price, CASHISWINE will not make any sale.

How does CASHISWINE set a selling price ?

The indicative selling price is calculated automatically through an algorithm taking into account the origin, the quality of the vintage, the evolution curve and the interest of the wine by the consumers.

Is the proposed sale price below my expectations ?

The sales price is given as an indication. It is automatically calculated by an algorithm based on the real price of the wines and not on the prices coming from the auctions. By avoiding the strong fluctuations generated by auctions, CASHISWINE proposes a stable and continuous selling price offering a permanent liquidity at any time of the year for all wines.

Why is the final sale price different from the estimate ?

For the simple reason that the wines received had one or more defects on the container and/or an alteration of the contents. In this case, the wines concerned are subject to a discount applied to the selling price.

I have wines from which we can no longer identify the origin. Can I send them to you ?

We sell wines from which we can no longer identify the origin (lack of label, illegible label, etc.). This is a service on request to CASHISWINE at contact@cashiswine.fr 

How do I know if my wines are taken over ?

A mention appears at the time of the estimate for each wine as soon as the salesman enters the year of vintage allowing him to know if this one is accepted or not.

I can’t find my winery ?

The wineries listed on the site are those whose wines have a higher value than the average for the appellation.

I have a limited edition, a vintage or a particular year ?

This is an on-demand service from CASHISWINE at contact@cashiswine.fr

I have half bottles and magnums ?

We take back half-bottles (0,375 cl), clavelins (0,62 cl), bottles (0,75 cl), magnums (150 cl) and jeroboams (300 cl).

Can I send you all my wines ?

We offer an outlet for every wine regardless of its condition, nature, capacity and origin.

What kind of wines can I send you ?

We only sell mature French wines that must be clearly marked with the year of the vintage and are less than 40 years old, regardless of their condition, nature or origin.

What wines can’t I send you ?

All blended wines, sparkling or not, without year are.
All wines and spirits without a year.
All alcoholic beverages other than wines and spirits.
All wines and spirits for which excise duties have not been paid.
All new wines, all new wines, all wines of the year, even all young wines.
All wines without Geographical Indication.
All wines without sulfites that have no ageing potential.
All encapsulated wines (metal crown cap and metal screw cap).
All PRODUCTS identified as “fake wines” (counterfeit, fake, copy, etc.).

I have bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau. May I send them to you?

We do not sell new wines, new wines or wines of the year, or even young wines.

I have sulfite-free wines. Can I send them to you ?

We do not sell sulfite-free wines because they have no ability to age.

Wine Pack

What is a WINE PACK for ?

It is a reinforced and pre-stamped cardboard box to send your wines to CASHISWINE for free.

How do I receive a WINE PACK ?

The WINE PACKS are sent free of charge to the seller’s home within 7 days after acceptance of the estimate for any amount over 250 €.

Do I have to pay shipping costs to send you my wines ?

Shipping and packing costs are covered by CASHISWINE for shipments with an estimated selling price of more than €250, regardless of the number of bottles.

For shipments with an indicative selling price of less than 250 €, shipping and packaging costs remain the responsibility of the seller.

How much does it cost to use your service ?

CASHISWINE’s intermediation service is remunerated by a commission deducted from the selling price of the sold wines paid by the buyer.

The applicable commission scale varies according to the value of the number of wines sold or the amount outstanding over a calendar year.

 

I find the cost of your service too high ?

The amount of the commission depends closely on the costs incurred by CASHISWINE beforehand, such as packing and shipping costs, costs related to the verification of conformity, taking of photographs, uploading, storage, preparation of orders, packing, etc. This list is not exhaustive.

Do my wine bottles have to be clean to ship them to you ?

In order to be shipped to CASHISWINE, the bottles must be clean (free of dust, dirt and traces of mould) except for wines sold as is, whose origin can no longer be identified.

It is therefore crucial to take precautions before shipping them. It is important to clean them carefully so as not to damage the labels, back labels, collars and capsules.

Is the WINE PACK suitable for wines with different capacities ?

We adapt the number of WINE PACKS according to the number and capacity of the bottles to be collected.

How many bottles can I put in the WINE PACK ?

We adapt the number of WINE PACKS according to the number and capacity of the bottles to be sold.

What can I do if my WINE PACK has expired ?

A WINE PACK is valid for 30 working days from the date of shipment by CASHISWINE. After this period, we advise sellers to contact CASHISWINE directly at the following address sav@cashiswine.fr

Can I order a WINE PACK if I live outside metropolitan France ?

CASHISIWNE is intended for metropolitan France, Corsica, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the countries of the European Union.

A friend gave me a WINE PACK. Can I fill it out and send it to you ?

WINE PACKS are nominative and sent to sellers after validation of the estimate. We cannot assign a WINE PACK for content other than the one originally planned as long as the WINE PACK has been registered in another person’s name.

I received my WINE PACK. Since then, I have changed my mind. I don’t want to sell my wines anymore ?

This choice is deemed firm and final. Failure to comply with this choice will lead to the opening of a dispute since sending a WINE PACK represents a cost for CASHISWINE.

Who is responsible for the verification of WINE PACKS and the control of wines ?

Upon receipt of the WINE PACKS, our experts are responsible for ensuring the compliance of the wines and to check if they have one or more defects on the container and/or an alteration of the contents.

The sale price thus determined after this stage is deemed firm, definitive and non-negotiable.

How long will it take CASHISWINE to process my WINE PACK(S) ?

Once your WINE PACK is received in our premises, it takes 15 working days for it to be processed by our experts (inspection, sorting, verification and evaluation).

How do I know if the WINE PACK(S) sent have been received by CASHISWINE ?

As soon as the WINE PACK(S) is received at our premises, we send an email to inform the sellers.

All information appears in the user account.

What happens if my WINE PACK(S) has been damaged or lost by the carrier ?

As soon as the seller can justify the deposit of his WINE PACK(S), he will be fully refunded on the basis of the indicative sale price.

How long does it take to send the WINE PACK(S) ?

The WINE PACK(S) must be deposited within a maximum of 30 days from the date of issue of the WINE PACK(S).

My WINE PACK is filled. Where can I deposit it ?

The WINE PACK is to be deposited in a Pickup Relay of the Chronopost network at the seller’s choice.

Can I request the return of wines that have been discounted ?

The seller must choose at the time of validation what he wishes to do if he refuses the discount(s) applied by CASHISWINE.

How do I receive my payments ?

Payment is made within 30 working days at the latest from the date of verification of conformity of the wines.

We make daily bank transfers and money transfers to PayPal accounts.

The wines that I sent you are on sale on the site but I have not yet been paid. How come ?

The wines for sale are immediately put on line on the website www.cashiswine.fr
