Le Clos Rousseau is one of the most renowned 1st Crus of Santenay, in the south of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy.
Structured, voluptuous and airy, this 2009 vintage is dominated by floral notes and an uncompromising minerality. On a purple color with slight purple highlights, the bouquet of this wine offers concentrated aromas of sage, saffron and honeysuckle, to which are added more roasted notes. The attack on the palate is all in tenderness, with a beautiful consistency until the saline finish, with notes of pepper.
