On the Poitevin lands, there is the Domaine Ampelidae, which has become completely organic since 2007. It was born from the will of Frédéric Brochet who strives to reconcile respect for the environment with his desire to create wines of character made from old grape varieties.

The Cuvée le K is made from old vines of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. From this blend, the cuvée has a large family of aromas ranging from gooseberry to game through leather. This aromatic richness and the finesse of the tannins reveals a long aging in barrels. The tannins are velvety but do not lack power until the end of the mouth.
