Dom Ruinart

Exceptional vintage, Dom Ruinart Rosé devotes the most beautiful harvest. Often called «solar», the year 2007 is characterized by a summer climate, ideal for the maturation of grapes. This rare cuvée owes its finesse and elegance to a blend of Grands Crus of Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs and a fair proportion of pinot noir, bringing an enveloping dimension.

Dom Ruinart Rosé 2007 is composed of 85% Chardonnays Grands Crus, mainly from the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, Mesnil-sur-Oger) and Montagne de Reims (Sillery), and 15% pinot noir from the Grand Cru d’Aÿ.

Dom Ruinart Rosé 2007 reveals a soft pink dress, highlighted with raspberry reflections. The first nose reveals spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, mixed with the freshness of citrus fruits such as blood orange and kumquat. The second nose more floral, reveals aromas of violet and peony complemented by fresh and iodized notes of oyster shells. The attack is enrobing and silky with notes of sour red fruits such as pomegranate and redcurrant. The mid-palate is fluid and saline. Firm and intense, the finish is supported by a delicate bitterness and a fine effervescence.
