R de Ruinart

Exclusively from prestigious Champagne terroirs, namely the Grands et Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, this Ruinart «R» cuvée is the perfect vintage expression of the Ruinart «taste».

Champagne vintage signature of the Ruinart house, the «R» of Ruinart 2010 is the fruit of an exceptional harvest. The climatic conditions of 2010 have allowed us to obtain very beautiful grapes with perfect ripeness and good acidity that drove the decision to make a vintage vintage.

From a blend of Chardonnay (55%) and Pinot Noir (45%), this 2010 vintage reveals a golden color illuminated by reflections of green and brown. The nose is complex and greedy. The aromatic bouquet is discovered in several times by opening first on fruity notes with aromas of apple, pear and ripe summer fruits. The aeration then leaves room for more spicy notes, enhanced by the delicate freshness of flower fragrances.   On the palate, this champagne unfolds all its power and generosity in a large and harmonious mouth, bright with the shine of the fruit and taut. Full of elegance, the persistence of the finish ends with slight notes of bitterness.
