Hermitage Rouge

Paul Jaboulet Aîné

2007

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Both producer and merchant, the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné was founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet. It then passed into the hands of his sons Paul and Henry, before being transmitted from generation to generation. In January 2006, the Frey family, winemaker from Champagne and owner of Château La Lagune in Bordeaux, took over the house Paul Jaboulet Aîné.

Overlooking the river on the hills of the Hermitage, the Patite Chapelle is the jewel of the estate.

It is an exceptional wine… Made from 100% Syrah, this 2007 vintage is adorned with a beautiful dress of a deep purple. Olfactively, it releases a soft and voluminous bouquet with perfumes of graphite, licorice, pepper, undergrowth and blackberries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with supple tannins.
