Nicolas Feuillatte – Palmes d’Or

Born from the cooperative world, created in 1972 by Nicolas Feuillatte, the eponymous house is now a brand in its own right, widely distributed throughout the world. Based in Chouilly, at the foot of the Côte des Blancs, the group brings together 4500 winegrowers and vinifies the 2200-hectare harvest spread throughout Champagne. Its range includes a prestigious cuvée Palmes d’Or.

A blend of 40% chardonnay (Montgueux and the three great crus of Chouilly, Cramant and Le Mesnil sur Oger) and 60% pinot noir (only great crus), this exceptional Palmes d’Or aged 8 years in the cellar. This champagne, of a pale gold color and with extremely fine bubbles, offers a very rich and intense nose on white flowers, cherry, pastry. The mouth is round, buttered, very long. The fullness of this great wine owes much to the pinot noir emboldened by the elegance of the chardonnays.
