Maison Louis Latour

Founded in 1797 by the Latour family, winemakers since the 17th century, the Maison Louis Latour is today, with its nearly 50 hectares of vineyard the largest wine estate in Burgundy. Combining ancestral know-how and innovation, Maison Louis Latour has retained its style, recognizable among all, which it draws in particular from its mastery of Chardonnay and Pinot noir.

Chambolle-Musigny is a red wine often presented as the most «feminine» of the Côte de Nuits. The intensity and finesse of this 2019 vintage are indeed expressed with an elegant subtlety. Looking at it, a bright ruby, glowing with bright and luminous reflections. Although it may appear dark in its youth, it retains all its brilliance. The violet, the small red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) compose its bouquet of marked typicality. As it ages, this wine will evolve into spicy ripe fruit, prune, or truffle, undergrowth and animal. Rich, bouquetée and complex, it lines the palate with silk and lace. Its fleshy delicacy does not prevent it from maintaining a solid and durable structure. Rather mellow, little focused on acidity, its tannins remain caressing.
