The house François d’Allaines is installed since 1996 in Demigny, a few kilometers from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Very close to this mythical coast where the greatest dry white wines of the world are produced. Some associates who love fine wines have given themselves the means to vinify wines from the best terroirs of Côte de Beaune, Côte Châlonnaise and Mâconnais.
The 2020 vintage is an admirable synthesis of what Burgundy succeeds in producing a year of sunshine. The powerful and fragrant whites will age well. A welcome and never disturbing acidity supports wines that have a crazy class.
Flowers of elderberry and broom open the nose on a cheerful intensity. The palate shows fullness, well supported by freshness, and a lively finish, with lemon accents. A typical set of the 2020 vintage.
