Maison Delas Frères

Founded in 1835, Maison Delas Frères enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Rhone Valley vineyards.
This cuvée is a parcel selection. The grapes come exclusively from Clos located on the plain of Chassis, left bank of the Rhône. This wine is only produced in great years and its production is voluntarily limited to 7,000 bottles per year. Grape variety: 100% Syrah. The harvest is done manually at optimal maturity. The winemaking is conducted in a traditional way. The ageing is conducted for ten to fourteen months in pieces of oak. Regular racking brings the oxygen necessary for the maturation of tannins. The color is deep, ruby color with garnet reflections. The wine reveals, in a perfect balance, a lot of delicacy, breadth and sweetness.
