Maison Bouvet Ladubay

1994

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

In Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, near Saumur, the emblematic Maison Bouvet-Ladubay is today the leader of Loire bubbles with six million bottles sold each year. Created in 1851 by the visionary Étienne Bouvet then bought in 1932 by Justin-Marcel Monmousseau, the house passed through several international alcohol groups (Taittinger, UB, Diageo) before returning to the family in 2015.

Maison Bouvet-Ladubay also produces fine wines from the Loire Valley, including Saumur.

This 2014 vintage has a beautiful ruby red color with purple reflections. This wine has a beautiful complexity, combining aromas of red fruits (cherries, strawberries, raspberries) and smoky and toasted empyreumatic notes. On the palate, it is round and delicate, harmonious with silky tannins and a very Loire freshness despite the years.
