Maison Benedetti

In 1997, Christian Benedetti decided to take over the land and leave the cooperative winery to create the Domaine Benedetti. From 1998 to 2001, he bought 4 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône and 2.2 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and decided to produce and market his own wine. In 2004, Nicolas Benedetti, son of Christian, joined the estate after studying viticulture and oenology.

With a medium-bodied body, this 1998 vintage is a perfect construction, presenting a ripe and concentrated fruit, remarkable precision, exquisite texture and impressive length.  This wine demonstrates a purity and maturity that recall the exceptional vintage of 1990.
