L’Oratoire Chasse Spleen

The real second wine of Chasse-Spleen !

It is today one of the most emblematic bourgeois crus of the Medoc. The vineyard, whose average age is 30 years, is planted on the best plots of the Grand Poujeaux croup, a gravelly and deep soil.  The second wine produced from the young vines of Château Chasse-Spleen, L’Oratoire is a real Moulis who enjoys the same care as his older brother !

This 2004 vintage has a clear, bright red colour. It releases an aromatic nose marked by notes of blackcurrant, fresh rose on some fresh accents. On the palate, the attack is frank and clean, the wine is straight and of good complexity with ripened tannins present. The wine continues on a beautiful finish with blackcurrant and pepper accents. All the know-how of Château Chasse-Spleen at an affordable price.
