L’Etoile de Bon Pasteur

This is the second wine from Château Le Bon Pasteur. 

This is the last born : “L’Etoile de Bon Pasteur” was born with the 2013 vintage (so it’s the 1st vintage!). A confidential production, 4500 bottles annually, for this vintage from a selection of plots of young vines, on a clay-siliceous soil.

These vines receive the same care as those producing Château Le Bon Pasteur. As for its elder, there is the same requirement of selection and precision for both the collection and the winemaking. All the know-how of oenologists Michel Rolland and Benoit Prévot to give a style and an identity to this vintage.

Michel Rolland would like to remind us : “For a long time we wanted to produce a second wine from Château Le Bon Pasteur. It’s done today. L’Etoile was born. Every year we harvest young replacement plants and young vines separately. This gives wines racy thanks to the terroir but less deep than those from the old vines. We made this wine as we had imagined, tender, joyful, gourmet. A real pleasure to taste !”
