Château Durfort-Vivens, located on the Margaux appellation, offers a range of wines from its best plots, each expressing a unique facet of its terroir. The “Les Parcelles de Durfort-Vivens” range consists of three distinct cuvées: “Les Plantes” for freshness and fruit, “Le Plateau” for power and velouté wines from Margaux, and “Le Hameau” for elegance.

Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (88%), Merlot (10%) and Cabernet Franc (2%), this 2019 vintage is a small bomb of flavors, an overpowering seduction. On the nose, chocolate notes coexist with iodine tips, all sprinkled with oriental spices. In the mouth, this wine is very fresh. The texture can be reminiscent of a chocolate pastry, combining power and sweetness.
