Cuvée Hemera 2006

In 1808, it was Apolline Henriot, young widow of Nicolas Henriot, who founded the Champagne House. At the beginning of the 1970s, Joseph Henriot, 7th generation of the family, decided to enrich the collection of reserve wines of the Maison Henriot initiated by Apolline Henriot two centuries earlier. Since then, the Maison Henriot has perpetuated these precious creations that reflect the most beautiful moments in the history of Champagne.

Cuvée among the most emblematic of the Maison Henriot, the Champagne Hemera Brut vintage pays tribute to the Greek goddess of the day. Rare and exceptional Champagne, Hemera wonderfully embodies the alliance between a singular vintage and the blend of six Grands Crus.

This 2006 vintage sports a yellow color with bright golden reflections. First expression of these exceptional terroirs, the nose is bright and reveals a rich and elegant aromatic palette. Delicate flavors of white flowers and linden leaves mingle with vanilla and slightly spicy notes. Structured and mineral, the palate reflects the harmonious alliance between the precision of Pinot Noir and the freshness of Chardonnay. The palate is gourmet and offers intense fruity aromas (ripe peach, nectarine, grapefruit) accompanied by delicate pastry notes. The low dosage magnifies the aromatic purity of this rare cuvée with unique aging potential.
