Domaine Yves Cuilleron, located in Chavanay, now works 70 hectares of vines spread over 5 appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray and Cornas. In order to produce wines marked by the terroir, winemaking is fragmented according to the simple principle of “a wine-a style”. The style of the wines is now widely affirmed : beautiful maturities supported by a serious oak.

This 2016 vintage made of 100% Syrah comes from the oldest vines of the estate with a plot planted in 1911 on the locality «Les Côtes». The colour is black and deep. The nose expresses a lot of complexity and depth on black fruits, with smoky and tapenade notes. The palate is full and expressive with a subtle balance between power and velvety. Great length on spices and minerality. A wine of great guard !
