Domaine Thierry Richoux

It was in 1979 that Thierry Richoux joined his parents on the family estate in Irancy, Yonne. Today he farms 18 hectares of pinot noir, the king grape in Irancy. Over the years many investments have been made, in the planting of new vines or in the creation of a fully equipped cellar.
The winemaker signs wines of pleasure, delicate, fruity, harmonious and able to age very well. For this purpose, he relies on strict specifications: reasonable yields, sorting of grapes, erasing, short vats. Different vintages are produced to best reveal the diversity of the terroirs of Irancy.  This wine has a delicious character of pinot noir, rather light with subtle cherry aromas.

The 2009 vintage is considered an exceptional vintage.
