Domaine Régis Minet

At the heart of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, a family estate now run by Lucia Mineur-Billet, a young passionate winemaker who decided in 2021 to follow in Régis’s footsteps. A singular story of transmission, a new page for a new adventure !

“Vieilles Vignes” is a historic wine of the estate, a blend of grapes from the oldest vines (+30 years). The vine, with deep roots, has been flourishing for many years on its preferred terroirs, and feeds on the beautiful minerality of the soil, to offer a wine of great intensity.

This 2022 vintage has a pale gold color with slight bluish reflections. The nose is explosive with floral notes (acacia, treacle, chamomile) and mineral, which evolve on aeration on notes of ripe white fruit. The mouth opens on a fresh and tonic impression of grapefruit and lemon zest. The white fruits return with notes of pear and white peach. The chalky aspect of the terroir is expressed in notes of warm stones. The finish is rich and persistent in the mouth.
