Domaine Prats – Cos D’Estournel

A classified vintage from 1855 located within the Medocaine appellation of Saint-Estèphe, Cos d’Etournel signs a wine reputed to be the archetype of the virile and elegant nectar. It actually reveals a powerful fruitiness and a superb body, slowly evolving into an admirable aromatic complexity. The Cabernet-Sauvignon, the Cabernet-Franc and the Merlot that compose it come from old vines that flourish on grassy slopes with soils of low gravel for the Cabernets and limestone for the Merlot.
