It all started in 1923, when Pierre André literally fell under the charm of Château de Corton and the hill that gives its name to several Grands Crus. Today, Pierre André owns 4 hectares of vines around the hill, including several plots in Grand Cru, and it produces wines from grapes purchased on about 100 hectares.

With Pierre André, the notion of terroir borders on the sacred! And it is the same for all its appellations: an extreme knowledge of each plot, hours and hours spent in the vineyards without counting, an attention without limit, a breeding of the noblest.

The 1996 vintage is particularly aromatic. With citrus and ripe fruits, delicate floral fragrances are mixed together, very often accompanied by some slightly spicy pastry notes. The palate is tender and fleshy, it relies on a well-present material. Endowed with a pleasant roundness and a gourmet finish. With aging, this wine has developed aromas of candied fruit, vanilla, hazelnuts and toast.
