Domaine P. Dubreuil Fontaine Père & Fils

Located in the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, in the small village of Pernand-Vergelesses, is the Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, whose twenty hectares of vines are cultivated in a family way according to sustainable, balanced and environmentally friendly methods. Close to the famous Grands Crus Rouges, the estate mainly cultivates the two typical grape varieties of Burgundy, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, whose grapes give classic, precise and sharp wines. Following natural and discreet winemaking processes, in order to best preserve the natural components of the fruit, modern techniques are skillfully combined with ancient traditions to guarantee the maximum expression of the Burgundy terroir.

This 2003 vintage is a deep, well-structured wine with excellent longevity and a very reasonable price. It is adorned with a black cherry color. Its nose full of raspberry and strawberry seduces just as much as its splendid allure, its well-chosen roundness, its balanced steps, the discreet piquancy of its acidity: it has everything to please.
