Armagnac

Domaine Marcel Trépout

1984

Bottle (0,70L)
Amber
Dry

The Armagnacs Marcel Trépout take their origins in the Château Notre Dame. This former monastery hosted pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela during the Middle Ages. At the end of the 18th century, Jean-Baptiste Rivière, Consul of the King of France, had the idea to use this castle with imposing walls for the cultivation of armagnac. In the 1940s, Marcel Trépout took over the cellars. The Armagnacs Marcel Trépout thus present noble references. They are among the most famous in the world.

The maturation allows the Armagnac to express all its aromatic richness and take a bright and deep shade. All the gestures are made with a single objective: to produce an armagnac of very high quality, coming exclusively from the year of harvest of the vintage. For the 1984 vintage, the attack is powerful, on the nut and pepper. Then the flavors explode on the tongue, invaded by a gradient of dried fruits, fig and sweet almond in the finish.
