Côtes de Toul – Vin Gris

Domaine Marcel et Michel Laroppe

1993

Bottle (0,75L)
Pink
Dry

It is in Bruley, in the heart of the Côtes de Toul that was born in 1722 and still resides today, the Domaine Laroppe. The family estate has been passed down from generation to generation by sharing historical know-how and ancestral expertise. Vincent Laroppe, 8th generation, is now at the head of the Domaine as a producer and harvester of Lorraine wines.

The vineyard of «Côtes de Toul» has built its reputation on grey wine.

This 1993 vintage is a rosé wine with a light color, it has an orange-salmon robe obtained by draining or direct pressing of the fresh grape harvest and vinification in white grapes with red skin but colourless pulp (black Gamay and Pinot noir), then blending the wines. Applied to Gamay, this process is unique in the world !
