It is in Bruley, in the heart of the Côtes de Toul that was born in 1722 and still resides today the Domaine Laroppe. The family estate has been passed down from generation to generation by sharing historical know-how and ancestral expertise. Vincent Laroppe, 8th generation, is now at the head of the Domaine as a producer and harvester of Lorraine wines.
The wines of the Côtes de Toul benefit from the Controlled Designation of Origin since 1998.
This 1996 vintage has a brilliant, red vermeille color. The nose is fine with aromas of cherries and blackcurrant leaves. The palate is fresh and light, with flavors of red fruits supported by discreet tannins.
