Domaine Léon Grivelet Cusset

Located north of the Côte de Beaune not far from the town of the same name, the Savigny vineyard produces red wines of very good quality. Formerly this vineyard was the property of the dukes of Burgundy and the abbeys.

This 1997 vintage has a deep cherry hue, its reflections are purple or even garnet. The nose exudes aromas of red fruits, such as cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry. The aeration reveals notes of violet, as well as aromas of leather and liquorice. In the mouth, its attack is soft, the material is dense and round, the tannins are fine, well melted and solid. The finish is sweet on notes of red fruits and liquorice.
