Domaine Le Vieux Donjon

The wines of the Vieux Donjon estate are among the finest, most elegant and most regular in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Meticulous and talented winemaker, Lucien Michel gradually gave way to his two children, Claire, arrived in 2007, and François, agronomist by training, in 2012. This new generation continues with harmony the style that made the reputation of the estate, with two cuvées of very high quality.

We find in this 2015 vintage everything we love about a great Châteauneuf-du-pape. Both fine, elegant, silky, this wine is a real taste success. Typical of the appellation, it is by its texture and the finesse of its tannins that it stands out. In the mouth, it develops an impressive aromatic palette (strawberry jam, dried tomato, plum, cinnamon).
