Domaine La Bignande des Clos – Maison Louis Mousset

Domaine La Bignande des Clos is owned by Louis Mousset, a wine merchant who has been producing wines from the Rhône valley since 1958. In 1996, the company became a subsidiary of the Union des Vignerons des Côtes du Rhône, the main group of Rhone producers based in Tulette in the Drôme.

This 2014 vintage offers a rather strong purplish colour. The nose is generous on notes of cherry to brandy, stone fruits. The palate is in the same register without artifice. A solid wine that will suit a full-bodied dish.
