It is simply one of the most mythical areas of the Côte de Beaune.

The Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet has an area of 17 hectares exploited in five villages of the Côte de Beaune. The white wines are made from the Chardonnay grape variety all classified Premier Cru. Pierre Ramonet is at the origin of the estate located on Chassagne-Montrachet, high place of Burgundy wine. The estate is now run by his grandson Jean-Claude, who has recently been supported by his two daughters, Anne-France and Clarisse. Visionary, he was able to export his wines overseas and in star restaurants early on.

This 2018 vintage presents a slightly golden colour with a rather intense nose of flowers, warm croissant or brioche and candied lemon, evolving over time to nuances of roasted hazelnuts and spices. The flavour is frank, combining freshness and character, sap and finesse. The long persistence leaves the palate on floral notes and gingerbread.
