Clos de la Féguine – Monopole

Since 1868, the Domaine Jacques Prieur has been one of the rarest mosaics of terroirs in Burgundy. Today, it is certainly the only one to own vines on the largest appellations of both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits: Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Echézeaux, Corton, Meursault or Montrachet. This incredible collection is complemented by other prestigious appellations as well as 3 Clos Monopoles.

The Clos de la Féguine Monopole 1er Cru comes from a very steep plot of 0.27 hectares facing south.

This 2019 vintage reveals an intense, deep ruby red colour. The nose is seductive, almost mesmerizing, precise with notes of fresh berries (fresh cherry, cherry kernel), evolving on slightly toasted notes. The palate is sweet, fruity, juicy. The tannins are ripe and coated. Nice oaky and spices.
