Domaine Jacques Cacheux & Fils

Located in Vosne-Romanée, the Domaine Jacques Cacheux & Fils has known five generations of winemakers. For the Cacheux family, the connection to nature is important. Not a good vintage of Côte de Nuits without rational cultivation of vines. Patrice Cacheux preserves the authenticity of the terroir and the tradition of the craft, resulting in an aromatic red wine of exceptional quality.

This 2018 vintage has a beautiful deep red color. The nose is very expressive and complex, pure and fresh, with fruity scents (strawberry, strawberry, cornouille) and floral notes (pink, violet). Superb attack on the palate, delicate, balanced, round with subtle woody and spicy notes (rosewood, licorice). The tannins are marked and very elegant. The finish is a note of heather earth that brings an extra complexity. A wonderful balance between finesse and structure.
