Saint Joseph, so historic also called Mauves wine: at the level of the work of the land we can only admire all those winemakers who have built and maintained from generation to generation the walls that support the lands of the steep slopes of the terraced slopes called chaillées or challeys to plant the varieties with which the Saint Joseph red is obtained.

Under a beautiful dark garnet color, this 2001 vintage is fine and elegant, marked by notes of jam (ripe black fruits) and roasting. On the palate, smoke and peppery notes emerge with liquorice aromas in the finish. This wine is characterized by a very nice balance, tight tannins and a very long persistence.
