Domaine Georges Faiveley

Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Faiveley has more than 120 ha of vines on exceptional terroirs including 12 Grands Crus and 25 Premiers Crus. Since 1825, the Faiveley family has always worked the vineyard with the greatest respect for the climates of Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. The will of Eve Faiveley and Erwan Faiveley, 7th generation, is to reveal the greatest terroirs of Burgundy in a style combining power, finesse and elegance.

This 2005 vintage has a pretty golden color with sumptuous green reflection. Remarkably intense on the nose, the yellow fruit is surprisingly sharp at this level. The mineral aromas are very marked and sign towards their provenance. On the palate, crystalline, the wine, taut, is wrapped in a beautiful constitution, almost tannic, which brings an elegant aging. You can keep it for many years: it ages admirably and mineralizes with age, gaining in tension and length, declining on aromas of cold stones and honeys.
