François Chauvenet, born in 1802, inherited a family know-how. When he founded his trading house in 1853, he named it F. Chauvenet in tribute to his mother, Françoise, who taught him everything. Particular attention is paid to the elaboration and ageing of the wines. With passion and rigor, the wines are aged according to tradition.
The 2009 vintage presents an expressive nose with notes of red berries. The pinotante mouth is round and fruity, greedy to perfection. It greatly exceeds the expectations of its appellation and is suave, elegant and gourmet.
