Clos du Moulin aux Moines – Monopole

Auxey was once a village of mills. The Moulin aux Moines still recalls today that the river of Clous which made, before the wine, the fortune of the country. Acquired in 1995 by Muriel and Emile Hanique, this historic monument owes its restoration to Roland Thévenin.

This 2004 vintage has a garnet color that opens on the nose on red fruits mixed with rather marked woody-toasted notes. The palate regains the aromatic side of the nose and rests on a nice volume. Its structure and persistence allow it to age for a long time.
