Auxey-Duresses is a village appellation of the vineyard of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyards of this appellation, established in 1937, are located exclusively on the commune of Auxey-Duresses. With a total area of more than 140 hectares, the appellation has 50 hectares dedicated to white wines.
This 1998 vintage has a bright colour. Refined, lively and gourmet, this wine combines notes of biscuit and stone with a harmonious structure. It expresses aromas of apple, fresh almond, toast and hazelnuts. Its flexibility is dominant, only enhanced by a rather discreet acidity.
Over the years, this wine has gained roundness and generosity.
