Pommard is one of the great red wines of the Burgundy vineyard. Composed of village appellations and 28 Premiers Crus, this AOC has been well known since the Middle Ages as «the flower of the wines of Beaunois». Located between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard is also a diversity of terroirs, producing fine and elegant wines.
This 2004 vintage, still in a violet colour, exudes health through the precision and richness of its bouquet. Black cherry, grilled, currant, spice are these main assets. The mouth. displays a remarkable freshness while roundness and fruit. This wine is based on a beautiful material and silky tannins.
