Les Hauts Jarrons

The name, unlike that of its close neighbour Corton, really marks the beginning of the Côte-de-Baoune. Its vast vineyard has 22 Premiers Crus classified climates, each of them with its own character, such as “Les Hauts Jarrons” which produces wines with a beautiful richness while remaining true to the typicity of the wines of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

This 1996 vintage has a sparkling ruby red color. The nose is marked on the fruit (cherry among others) with almost a mineral side. The discreet, woody, underlines the character of this great terroir. The mouth is also marked by a tannic texture and minerality typical for the terroir and climate.
