Domaine Edgard Régnault

The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune are wines from vineyards planted on the top of the hills of Côte d’Or and Saône-et-Loire. This appellation produces wines with a sustained colour, marked by powerful flavours: abundant tannins, good mellow, supported by a good acidity.

This 1998 vintage has a purple, even ruby color with bright and vivid violet reflections. The nose offers a bouquet of notes of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, are also present cooked fruits like prune, mixed with spicy fragrances. On the palate, it is a well-structured wine with density and roundness and a nice vivacity. It is a racé wine that is ready to drink !
