Domaine du Tariquet

The Château Tariquet is a winery located in Eauze, in the Gers, in the heart of the cultural region of Gascony. Birthplace of the Grassa family since 1912, the estate has become over generations an emblematic figure of the region. Today, this vineyard of more than 110 hectares produces 10 cuvées of white wines, 2 cuvées of rosé wines and no less than 11 Armagnacs.

This 2016 vintage with a golden robe reveals a subtle nose with floral character, accompanied by notes of fresh butter. Fused aromas of wood add complexity to the whole. The palate is rich, round and full of freshness. This is a summer wine, little mineral but very fruity, marked by the power and finesse of partial aging in barrels of Chardonnay.
