The Bérioles estate is a family business located in Cesset, in the vineyards of Saint Pourçain. With strong oenological experiences in Burgundy and the Loire Valley, Jean Teissèdre took over the 7 hectares of vines of his parents in 2011. His sister Sophie and brother-in-law Jérôme joined him in 2015. All three have the ambition to create a signature, a typicity. Resolutely in love with their terroirs, it all starts with careful care of the vineyard. Their desire to adapt, and to progress gives a breath on the small appellation.
Pinot Noir was once called Auvernat in the Loire Valley. Curious about the ampelographic past of their beautiful nature, the team of the Bérioles estate signs here a remarkable vintage 2017, vibrant, elegant and tasty. The color is garnet. The nose is delicate with aromas of raspberries and blackcurrant. On the palate, the attack is marked by the intensity of the fruit, and a nice handful of hot spices. This wine reveals soft and seductive tannins with lots of aromas.
