The Derey estate has 20 hectares, spread over the municipalities of Dijon, Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey Chambertin. Maxime, the eldest son, took over the reins. He is committed to the absolute respect of good practices of reasoned viticulture. In this sense, he has just strengthened the team to support the commitment to the most environmentally friendly technologies.
While keeping a very digestible aspect, this 2017 vintage, from the plot Les Genelières, has a beautiful concentration and a nice amplitude in the mouth. An elegant and deep fruity (cherry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry) combines with delight a mineral touch as well as a subtle woody.
