Domaine de Terre Ferme

This is the last vintage of Pierre Bérard who sold his estate in 1991.

As an anthology of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Pierre Bérard worked his wines in the traditional way, with long aging in vats, to develop the typicity of some vintage wines of the time, their silky and deep texture. Robert Parker brought his wines closer to those of Volnay. He had next to a very high-level business, buying wines already aged or that he raised himself but from the best suppliers, such as the famous Pierre André estate before he put his wines directly into bottles.

The Pierre Bérard selections are true testimonies of the greatness of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.
