Clos L’Évêque

Located in the heart of Mercurey, the Château du Bourgneuf is the fief of the Suremain family for seven generations. An estate born in 1870 from the consolidation of different family estates. Bottling dates back to 1947. Set up in 1979, Yves and Marie-Hélène de Suremain, joined by their eldest son Loïc in 2005, now operate a vineyard of 19 ha.

In this 2004 vintage, we oscillate between roundness and acidity, the wine is balanced and ample on the palate. The finish is juicy and supported by beautiful silky tannins. The very archetype of a very good wine from Burgundy.
