Côte Rôtie

Domaine de Rosiers

1999

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

In 1980, André created with his son Louis “Le Gaec de Syrah”, former name of the estate which will become the Domaine de Rosiers in reference to the locality “Rozier” on which is planted a large part of the vines. Maxime Gourdain took over the Domaine de Rosiers and continues to write its history, notably by expanding the range of Côte-Rôtie and producing in the Condrieu appellation because today 0.5 ha of vines are dedicated to it.

With a deep red color, this 1999 vintage is distinguished by incredible perfumes of raspberry, blackcurrant and spices with a touch of violet. After all these years of aging, this large-bred wine reveals scents of vanilla and kernel. Powerful, tannic, unctuous and of remarkable finesse, they are characterized by a beautiful roundness and a beautiful fullness.
