Domaine Charles Henri Bourguignon

The name, in contrast to that of its close neighbor Corton, really marks the beginning of the Côte-de-Baaune. Its vast vineyard has 22 climates classified as Premiers Crus, each of them having their own character, such as “Les Hauts Jarrons” which produces wines with a beautiful richness while remaining faithful to the typicality of the wines of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

This 2017 vintage reveals a ruby color with shades of mauve and pink evolution. The gradient is tender and the whole is velvety in the glass. The nose is complex with aromas of morello cherry, raspberry, blond tobacco, smoke, violet and sweet spices, cinnamon, vanilla with aeration. The mouth is smooth and velvety with fruity flavors that enrobe a peppery structure with fine and silky tannins.
