An estate created by Christopher Newman, consisting of plots bought between 1972 and 1974 from his father, one of the first Americans to have invested in the vineyard in Burgundy, and Alexis Lichine; plots replanted at the same time: 5.5 ha of vines, with one foot in each Coast, including three Grands Crus Nuitons.
This 2017 vintage has a lovely burlat dress with purple reflections, an elegant nose of raspberry and blackcurrant on a well integrated toasted woody background, and thanks to its long, ample and fleshy palate, with fine tannins.
