Domaine C. Newman

An estate created by Christopher Newman, consisting of plots bought between 1972 and 1974 from his father, one of the first Americans to have invested in the vineyard in Burgundy, and Alexis Lichine; plots replanted at the same time: 5.5 ha of vines, with one foot in each Coast, including three Grands Crus Nuitons.

This 2018 vintage is displayed in a beautiful garnet color with purple reflections, the nose open on notes of red fruits and grilled. The palate appears ample, fleshy and round, impregnated with delicate floral (pink) and fruity aromas, and supported by fine tannins. A wine of the most balanced that it will be necessary to age to make the most of it.
